
Meal Program - 55+ Dining Experience
The TCS 55+ Dining Experience offers 3 hot delicious, nutritious meals per week. All meals are cooked by a qualified cook/meal coordinator and our terrific volunteers. All meals (pick up or dine-in) must be reserved 2 days in advance by calling 204-222-5947 (press #3). Mondays meal costs $10; Wednesday’s meal costs $12; and Thursday’s meal costs $8.

Pick Up Only:

Mondays and Wednesdays, pick up dinner from 209 Yale Avenue West (Transcona Memorial United Church) between 3:00 and 4:00 pm. Pay $12 cash when you pick up your meal.

Dine In: Come out and enjoy a lovely lunch with your fellow Transconians at 500 Widlake Street from 11:30 to 1:00 pm, or pick up lunch to take out between 11:00 and 12:00 pm. Enter at the south entrance doors of the building, where parking is available in Visitors Parking row or on Widlake Street. Pay $8 cash when you come to dine-in or pick up your meal.

Once a month, come out to our “Entertainment and Dine-In” meal held on a Wednesday (check our menu for specific dates) at 209 Yale Avenue West (Transcona Memorial United Church). Entertainment starts at 3:00 pm and a hot, delicious meal is served to you at 4:00 p.m. Pay $12 cash at the door, but make sure you’ve reserved your seat 2 days in advance by calling 204-222-5947 (press #3). Our entertainers are professional singers who bring back memories from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s! We guarantee you a great time! If you have no other means of coming out to our entertainment and dine-in meals, please call us at 204-222-5947 (press #3) to book a ride on our bus to bring you there and take you back home.
