Mushroom and Onion Tartlets

INGREDIENTS

 

Cream Cheese Pastry

  • ½ cup butter or margarine softened

  • 4 oz cream cheese softened

  • 1 cup Flour

 

 

 

 

DIRECTIONS

 

  1. Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth. Work in flour. Roll into long thin roll.

  2. Mark off and cut into 24 pieces.

  3. Press into tiny tart pans to form shells.

 

 

FILLING

  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine

  • 1 cup finely chopped onion

  • 1 ½ cups finely chopped mushrooms

  • 1 tbsp flour

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1/8 tsp pepper

  • 1/8 tsp Thyme

  • 1/3 cup sour cream

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Melt butter in sauce pan, add onion and mushrooms. Sauté until onion is clear and soft. Stir until thick.

  2. Cool quite well.

  3. Divide among tart shells. Bake 3500 for about 20 minutes
